God’s Presence

Still Small Voice

Sanctuary Treasure

You can enter into my sanctuary, stay in my presence. You have been made spotless, righteous, a fitting bride. You may enter in and stay, oh beautiful one. You radiate with beauty; you shine with glory because you behold the radiant One. Stay in the light of my love and darkness will not reach you. Tether your heart with mine and nothing will separate us. You’ve made yourself ready. You’ve sacrificed all to be with me. Your trust in me is singular, and I will never fail you. Stay hidden in my love and nestled under my strong wing. I am your protection and safe place. You will know the secrets of my heart. They will be unveiled to you because your one desire is to know me. You’ve left all behind to seek me and you have found me. You stepped beyond earthly pleasure and delights and found the hidden treasure of my presence. And what a joy our union will be. You will be trusted with much because you surrendered all for me.

You will make known to me the way of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. – Psalm 16:11, NASB

The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant. – Psalm 25:14-15, NASB

The bird also has found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may put her young: your altars, LORD of armies, My King and my God. –Psalm 84:3, NASB

Has sido hecha inmaculada, justa, una novia apropiada. Puedes entrar y quedarte, oh hermosa. Te has preparado. Has dejado todo atrás para buscarme y me has encontrado.

Nestled in My Heart

Come, and come quickly. The time is at hand. You must run to me and hide in me. The time is now. Don’t wait until it’s too late. If you hear my voice calling to you, come quickly and stay. Put down what you’re doing and come quickly. Don’t let lesser things distract you from running to my presence. There is no time to waste on those things that have no eternal value, those things that will not last. They rob you of your time, your joy, and your abundance in me. Behold me, and everything you desire will be found in me. Everything you need you may not imagine will be yours. Rest in me, trust me, and peace will be yours. You are safe within my presence. Let go of every weight that keeps you from nestling in my heart. There’s life for you that you have not dreamed of. Come, hear my deep secrets; come, hear my heart.

“Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm. – Joel 2:12-13 NKJV

Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. – Isaiah 55:6 NKJV

I run for dear life to God, I’ll never live to regret it. Do what you do so well: get me out of this mess and up on my feet. Put your ear to the ground and listen, give me space for salvation. Be a guest room where I can retreat; you said your door was always open! You’re my salvation—my vast, granite fortress.” – Psalms‬ ‭71‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Ven, y ven pronto.

– Salmo 71:1-3 NVI

Hidden by God

Come to Me, cry out to Me. I will deliver you from all your troubles. Look away from all that steals your joy and turn to Me, sweet child. Look to Me for all the answers your heart is searching for. I will provide all the assurance you need. Stay close to Me. Stay hidden under My wing. You will know My goodness because you have been faithful to Me. I will recompense your troubled days. You have pursued Me above all else and I have covered you from the distracting lies going forth like arrows. I have been your hiding place. You’ve come to the secret place of My presence. Never leave My side.

Mantente escondida bajo Mi ala. He sido tu escondite. Has venido al lugar secreto de Mi presencia. Nunca te apartes de Mi lado.

Burn Brightly

Push back the darkness with the light of My presence. You are the light that I have called out of darkness. You have given your heart to Me and we are one. I am now calling you back into the darkness to shine My light for others caught in its grip. Lead them out, My chosen ones. This is the hour you have been prepared for. You know the desperation of the dark places. You have endured the pain, the loneliness, and the betrayal to sympathize with all who need a way out. You are a light. You are called to lead the way out of this present darkness. You have stayed faithful and kept your lamp burning with the oil of intimacy. Advance in victory.

Once again Jesus spoke to the people. This time he said, “I am the light for the world! Follow me, and you won't be walking in the dark. You will have the light that gives life.” –John‬ ‭8‬:‭12,‬ ‭CEV‬‬

For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. –Ephesians 6:12, RSV

Be ready and keep your lamps burning. –Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭35,‬ ‭CEV‬

Me has entregado tu corazón y somos uno.

–Efesios 6:12, NVI

Prepárense y mantengan encendidas sus lámparas. –Lucas 12:35, NVI

Deep is the Mystery of Intimacy

There is an endless cacophony of noise and voices entering our minds and hearts on a daily basis influencing us. Much of that is out of our control. But what if we deliberately chose to sit and hear from God himself.

My spirit has been yearning to enter into an even deeper intimacy with Jesus. I want to hear more of what His Spirit wants to share. But I know I’ll need to do some specific things for our relationship to flourish. It’s going to take time, focus and surrender. And I know I will have to sacrifice some things but what I expect to get in return will be worth the sacrifice.

When our spirit is silent and expectant our hearts are shaken to life. Sometimes I stretch forth my physical hands and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I get on my knees and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I pace around the room and sometimes I just stand still. It’s more a posture of the heart that God notices. He’s looking for someone that’s humbled in His presence, ready to listen and receive rather than quick to speak.

This intimacy is still such a mystery to me. And I believe it’s hard for some because it requires us to let go and trust.

But I truly believe the Spirit of God wants to whisper secrets from the heart of Jesus. On New Year’s Eve I received a gentle whisper that had my heart fluttering and my imagination dancing. It gave me a sneak peek of what we can expect from a deeper relationship with Jesus.

A Midnight Whisper from the Spirit

Wedding bells are ringing, wooing the bride of Christ.

At the midnight hour her heart is being prepared.

She will meet Him at dawn to begin a divine romance.

He will sweep her off her feet into the heavenlies.

Her first dance of true love with the Father will have the angels in awe.

The Son will then take His bride and show her His mansions.

Each day they will discover a hidden treasure together.

They will open new doors together;

enter into deeper rooms of revelations.

His heart will unlock rooms holding mysteries so deep,

her breath will be taken away.

There will be a library of books filled with words of love for His bride.

They will eat fruit baskets of grace and truth.

And He will take her to the throne room of mercy – a room of never-ending love and intimacy.

These are a couple of books I recommend that aided my intimacy journey with Jesus:
