The Sleeping Bride

I

will break the ties of the wicked over My people. They will no longer be under a strong delusion. They will be drawn out from among them—a people to be made ready for the wedding feast. The Bride has been sleeping for too long. She must wake up and get ready, for the Bridegroom is on His way. He will light the way home. Only the betrothed will go with Him. Cut ties with what desecrates. Disarm yourselves from corrupting influences and associate with the light-bearers, the truth-tellers, the secret place dwellers. Join the company of uncompromised warriors who have died to self, and found their purpose in God‘s bosom. Separate yourself from death and embrace the God of life. Seek Him while He may be found.

Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me days without number. ‭‭—Jeremiah‬ ‭2‬:‭32‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” ‭‭—1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭33‬ ‭NASB

Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of his light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. Then you will learn to choose what is beautiful to our Lord. And don’t even associate with the servants of darkness because they have no fruit in them; instead, reveal truth to them. The very things they do in secret are too vile and filthy to even mention. Whatever the revelation-light exposes, it will also correct, and everything that reveals truth is light to the soul. This is why the Scripture says, “Arise, you sleeper! Rise up from your coffin and the Anointed One will shine his light into you!” ‭‭—Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

—Efesios‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭15‬ ‭DHH

Victory is Yours

V

ictory is yours. Remember that you are free. I have snatched you from the fiery furnace of affliction, and set your feet in the secret place of My presence. Though you walk in the shadow of death you will see no evil because your face will be right in front of mine. You will be protected with Me. Look to Me when the pain seems too much to bear. I will wipe away your tears and comfort you. I will remind you that your future is secure in Me. I know your pain — the pain of loss and dreams deferred. The pain of deception and evil. I will bind the brokenhearted. Come to Me in all your distress and brokenness and I will comfort your soul. I will give you peace through the storm. Your eyes will see only Me and you will feel only My peace that is beyond understanding. I will do this for you. Trust in My love and protection and plans for you because I am trustworthy.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord anointed me to bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to captives and freedom to prisoners. —Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭1‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. —Daniel‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ NASB2020

And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” —Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭39‬-‭40‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

‭‭—San Marcos‬ ‭4‬:‭39‬ ‭DHH

Table of Presence

D

o not get consumed by the cares of this world, and do not consume the enemy’s lies. Feast on My word. Lies will try to fill your heart with worry, anxiety, fear, and regret, but My word will fill you with joy, comfort, love, hope, peace, and a faith in a tomorrow full of My perfect plans for you. Sit at My banquet table that I have prepared for you in the presence of your enemies. While the arrows of the enemy are soaring through the air, My table is being set before you in heavenly places, far above principalities. Feast on My love for you expressed in so many ways. Unimaginable delights await you at My table of fellowship. Endless delicacies for your soul, hand-picked for you, my dear child. You are safe, you are loved, you are always the special guest of honor at My table of presence. Let us feast together.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. —Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day. —Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭5‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. —2 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

—2 Corintios‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬ ‭JBS‬‬

Shine, Shine, Shine

S

hine, shine, shine, for the darkness is thick. Your light is the hope of many souls wrapped in the tentacles of darkness. Shine your light as you take command of your post on earth. Stand firm on My word, and declare those things that are not as though they were. Let the gift of faith keep giving to others who lack hope. Open up your mouth and declare the truth of My word. Fill yourself with all of Me. Let My Holy Spirit teach you all things. Surrender your heart and mind and I will show you great and mighty things that will increase your faith. I will show you the spiritual treasures at your disposal, both as an arsenal, and a dispensary of healing and restoration. My truth will go forth to accomplish that for which I purposed it. Stand firm on it, and remember that the battle is mine.

Then upon Jahaziel, the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation; and he said, Hearken, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou King Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Do not be afraid nor dismayed before this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. ‭‭—2 Chronicles‬ ‭20‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭JUB‬‬

If ye love me, keep my commandments; and I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him, or know him; but ye know him, for he dwells with you and shall be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. ‭‭—John‬ ‭14‬:‭15‬-‭18‬ ‭JUB‬‬

So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people. ‭‭—Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭18‬ ‭GNT‬‬

B

—Efesios‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬-‭18‬ ‭LBLA‬‬

Our Secret Place

Dear one, you are not alone. We all go through hard times at some point or another in our lives. But I don’t want your heart to despair. I’m in the midst of one myself. If you’re going through a refining fire season, remember the following to keep your mind and heart focused on our loving, protective, strengthening, and victorious Father God, Lord and Savior Jesus, and Holy Spirit. You’ll find what you need in our secret place with God.

In the secret placed you’ll be …

01 Embraced – God loves you with an everlasting love. He has not only purposely created you, and that’s enough to stop you in your tracks, but He has also paid the ultimate price to keep you near His bosom for an eternity. He can’t lie so He gave His word for you. His word is Jesus. You are loved, saved, chosen, and adopted. You are a child of God and co-heir with Christ.

02 Enveloped – You are safe, and protected under His wings. Seeking God brings a proximity to Him. Intimacy keeps you safe because you are always in His Presence. No weapon formed against you will prosper when you’re hidden in Christ. You are never left alone. You have been lifted to a high place that no evil can ascend. Never, ever.

03 Encouraged – You have been given the gift of faith to believe the whole counsel of God. God’s word is truth. It never fails. His word always performs His purposes. Your faith brings His truth into substance before you. His truth exposes lies and renews your thoughts, transforming them into the mind of Christ. Now, all things are possible if you believe.

04 Equipped – It’s not by might but by God’s Spirit that you overcome. You are made strong with the gift of Holy Spirit living inside, giving you everything you need for life and godliness. Love, power, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, revelation, and a sound mind are yours. You become a Godly warrior, always victorious.

I encourage you to read, dwell in, and pray through Psalm 91. Also, Psalm 23 and Psalm 27.  Try reading them in different translations until you find the one that resonates with your heart.

When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. You will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done! When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet! For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you loved me, delighted in me, and have been loyal to my name, I will greatly protect you. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will feel my presence in your time of trouble. I will deliver you and bring you honor. I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!" ‭‭- Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭1‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name. Even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. You become my delicious feast even when my enemies dare to fight. You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit; you give me all I can drink of you until my cup overflows. So why would I fear the future? Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you! - Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Yahweh is my revelation-light and the source of my salvation. I fear no one! I’ll never turn back and run, for you, Yahweh, surround and protect me. When evil ones come to destroy me, they will be the ones who turn back. My heart will not fear even if an army rises to attack. I will not be shaken, even if war is imminent. Here’s the one thing I crave from Yahweh, the one thing I seek above all else: I want to live with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beauty of Yahweh, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to contemplate in his temple. In the day of trouble, he will treasure me in his shelter, under the cover of his tent. He will lift me high upon a rock, out of reach from all my enemies who surround me. Triumphant now, I’ll bring him my offerings of praise, singing and shouting with ecstatic joy! Yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh! Hear my cry. Show me mercy, and send the help I need! I heard your voice in my heart say, “Come, seek my face;” my inner being responded, “Yahweh, I’m seeking your face with all my heart.” So don’t turn your face away from me. You’re the God of my salvation; how can you reject your servant in anger? You’ve been my only hope, so don’t forsake me now when I need you! My father and mother abandoned me. But you, Yahweh, took me in and made me yours. Now teach me, Yahweh, all about your ways and tell me what to do. Make it clear for me to understand, for I am surrounded by waiting enemies. Don’t let them defeat me, Lord. You can’t let me fall into their clutches! They keep accusing me of things I’ve never done, breathing out violence against me. Yet I believe with all my heart that I will see again your goodness, Yahweh, in the land of life eternal! Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! ‭‭- Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭1‬-‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Querida, no estás sola.

Buscar a Dios trae proximidad a Él.

Caerán a tu lado mil, Y diez mil a tu diestra; Mas a ti no llegará.

A ti clamo, Señor: escúchame. ¡Ten valor, no te desanimes! ¡Sí, ten confianza en el Señor! - Salmo 27

Be Filled

T

he river of life flows through you as roaring waves and peaceful streams. He will wash away debris from your life and usher in heaven’s flow of refreshing water. He will satisfy your thirst. Let this river into your heart. He’s a gift to those who believe. Once He enters your life, He gives abundant life. Do not close any of the reservoirs, or build any dams to stop His flow. He will enter every space and crevice, and bring healing and revelation to every part of you. Be filled to overflow with Him and He will be living water poured out from you to give to others.

“Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!” —John‬ ‭7‬:‭38‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, flowing with water clear as crystal, continuously pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” —Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭1‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” —Psalms 23:2 KJV

E

Light the Way

S

ound the alarm. My people, wake up from your slumber. It is time to advance My kingdom. The days of sidelining have come to an end. I need hearts of warriors to dispel this present darkness with My light of truth. This is a war against darkness. Only My truth can penetrate its depths. Brave souls, who do not compromise, stand up. Stand up and shine. Dismantle lies by living the truth. Arm your selves with My words. Those are your weapons. The war is for the souls of men. That is the land that needs to be conquered. This world will one day pass away. But spirits are eternal. They must find their peace with Me. Light the way, My people. Light the way.

"The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. Those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them." - Isaiah 9:2 NASB

"Yeshua spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows Me will no longer walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." - John 8:12 TLV

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." - Matthew 5:14-16 NASB

Palette of Hope

P

aint with brushstrokes of mercy and love, where marks of hate have left wounds. Color the darkness with the colors of love. Let joy splatter the hearts of all who weep and mourn. Comfort My people. Your palette will be colors from heaven never seen before. Their beauty is unimaginable. They radiate with a luminescence that warms the souls of wounded people. They are the colors of hope. They paint what has not been seen before. They represent the beauty for ashes I have reserved for them. Paint hope with brushstrokes of love. Let each movement be led by My spirit. Let each stroke be filled with intention and compassion. Paint a picture of the reality waiting to manifest for all My children.

"And I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, to create artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, so that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship." — Exodus 31:3-5 NASB

Consuela a mi pueblo.

— Salmos 19:1-4 DHH

Wildflower

W

ildflower, I pick you over and over. You are not like the rest of the bunch. You are free and lovely in your own way. You are overlooked and on the outskirts, but your soul is not tainted by this world. You grow where the wind of My spirit takes you. You may be hidden from many, but My eyes see your beauty. I have made you this way. You are hidden away for a time. But I find you every time I look for you. Because you stay planted. You have not been plucked up. You do not sit in other waters and display yourself or sell yourself for profit. You will not be merchandised. You are My possession. You are hidden in My heart. I see your natural beauty because your seed came from My heart. You are a chosen flower in My garden.

"Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." — Luke 12:27-28 NIV

"I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the LORD your God." — Amos 9:15 ESV

lor silvestre, te elijo una y otra vez. No eres como el resto del grupo. Eres libre y encantadora a tu manera. No serás comercializada.

Treasures of Darkness

I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name. — Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭3‬ ‭NASB

Come with Me through the gardens, through the meadows, through the wilderness, and through the forests. I am with you in each season of your life. I am enough for you when you presume you are in lack, or when this world has consumed your spaces. During each season, we will walk together and find the hidden treasures in darkness. Walk with Me, talk with Me, and I will usher you in behind the veil, where all of My treasures are laid bare. They have been preserved for you, My dear one. It is all waiting for you and your child-like faith and trust to receive from My hand. Give Me your worries and I will give you hope. Give Me your pain and I will give you My balm. Give Me your ear and I will give you My secrets stored in My heart from eternity—for all those who value My voice, and seek My face. Give Me your hand, and I will guide you into all truth that leads to life with Me.

Son-rising

We are overwhelmingly aware of all sorts of things. Today’s technological advances have aided the delivery of despairing news from all around the world—tragedies, threats of war, and terrorism that attempt to consume us. It camps in our mind, affects our behaviors and influences our words. The darkness that surrounds us is thick. The darkness within, even thicker. It often feels like nothing can penetrate this oppression.

Yet, there is hope.

Matthew 2:1-2 says that at the time of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the east saw Jesus’ star rising in the sky. There was a star rising but it wasn’t an earthly star. It was the bright and morning star.

The Son was rising.

These wise men were following ‘His’ star in the night sky. They were used to that. God spoke to them in a way they understood. These spiritual priests or advisors were also known as magi, experts in astronomy, astrology, and natural science. But on that grand day when Jesus was born, God led them to the most glorious Light the earth has ever known. And it wasn’t the star in the sky. They were led to Jesus Himself, the hope for a world caught in the throes of darkness.

Jesus is …

The star that ushers hope into our broken and desperate souls.

The star that reveals the authority of truth amidst the tyranny of confusion.

The star that heals with His presence as torment releases its grip.

The magi witnessed for themselves that the true Light of the world had come. The sun, the moon and the stars paled in comparison to the Light that dispels spiritual darkness. By nature, Jesus’ life brings hope, healing, and the revelation of truth.

When His Light comes, darkness must flee.

Darkness is hard at work being what it is. Darkness doesn’t understand how to be light. All it knows, lives and breathes is darkness—an oppressive darkness that keeps us blind and chained. But, take heart. Even if there is devastation and destruction all around you, the Son is rising with healing in His wings.

The Son is rising in the hearts of many seekers.

If you’ve been looking to the lesser lights of this world for counsel and comfort and still feel darkness nipping at your heels, all you have to do is allow the true Light to enter your heart. His Light will shine in you and through you.

The Hebrew name for Jesus is Yeshua, which means, “the Lord is salvation.”

Reach out for Him in faith, even in the midst of darkness.

Your rescuer is near.

Leaves of Stone

I decided to get a little exercise in by raking a trillion leaves that we clearly didn’t make time for. They were still rather damp from the rains from a few days back, so the raking was more difficult with the added weight.

As I began raking the hoarded autumn leaves from our back stairs, I noticed how they covered the water drain, not allowing the rain to fall through. The rain just seeped into the leaves themselves, and slowly made its way down.

I began to rake the yard. It was too much to gather all the leaves in one area so I made three mounds and added leaves nearby to each mound.

And then it hit me. Hard. I began to think about all the layers I’ve allowed to cover my heart. Layers of burdens – shame, regret, pain, fear, anxiety. They laid on the soil of my heart and it was heavy.

As I raked the leaves and added them to the mounds, it was as if I was placing my layers at the altar before the Lord. I couldn’t see all the layers and layers, year after year, anxiety upon fear, fear upon regret, regret upon pain, and pain upon shame. As I kept raking, I kept uncovering the truth.

One mound for the Father.

One mound for the Son.

One mound for the Holy Spirit.

As I raked the leaves, I also found broken branches.

I made a heap for the sticks and mounds for the leaves. Leaves that became heavy, burdensome stones. Stones that covered my heart – making it cold and inaccessible. So now I had sticks and I had stones and a bunch of hurts I needed to name.

Oh Lord! Dig through the layers of these leaves of stones on my weary heart and heal me. Show me the hope you have for me. I know that there’s life underneath all these layers of dying – with your love, through your blood, by your power.

Death was gripping my heart, not allowing me to live – to breathe.

There it was for me to see. The layers I’d accumulated over my life that covered my heart. Clear as day.

But deep inside, under the layers, is a heart of flesh.

God will make it right.

And as I write, the wind outside is strong enough to lift the dry, lifeless, falling leaves, enabling a few of them to knock at my window looking for a home.

But I won’t let them in.

It’s time for the northerly winds to scatter them away.

But the leaves will continue to fall and I vow to catch them before they get too comfortable with me.

And so I wait, grasping at hope. Expecting to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

And I lift my hand and give them to God one by one.
