The Burden-bearer

I

am enough when you feel weak. I am enough when you can’t see yourself through. I am enough for you. Depend on my strength to lift you up when you are weak, both physically and emotionally. I am the burden-bearer. Your load is too heavy, my dear one. Release everything you’re caring into my caring hands. Trust me through the process. I know your pain, your restless wait. Even in the waiting, in your weakness, you are made strong because I have the victory. Don’t give up the fight of faith. The pain is temporary, but my plans are eternal. You will be victorious through it all. What awaits is joy forevermore. Relinquish the burdens of your heart to me and I will cause your heart to rejoice in me. I am enough through it all. I will never leave you. Rest in that.

Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. —Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭NASB

My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. —Psalm 73:26 NKJV

Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light. —Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭NASB

S

—Mateo 11:28-30 LBLA

Adventures with God

E

mbark on a journey with me with no end. We will wander and wonder together forever. I have mysteries hidden from long ago for those willing to take a risk with me. Adventures come with risks. Faith in me will be required. You will experience and see things that will increase your faith in me and strength for the continued journey here on earth. Fasten your seatbelt. Some of the journey will be fast. I accelerate to bring you up to my speed. There are times of waiting and being still. It may seem like time is wasting away, but I am at work. You are being perfected in the wait, in the trusting posture. But I will speed up the process supernaturally because my plans and purposes for you will not be thwarted. I will accomplish what my heart and power will for you. Trust the process because I am faithful and true.

So they said to him, “Please inquire of God, that we may know whether the journey on which we go will be prosperous.” And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. The presence of the Lord be with you on your way.” —Judges‬ ‭18‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬

Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And he is the one who completes the journey of faith. —Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬a NIRV‬‬

Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately—at the end of the ages—become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you. It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God. —1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬-‭21‬ ‭MSG‬‬

—Jueces 18:5-6 NVI

Sigamos mirando a Jesús.

—1 Pedro 1:18-21 NVI

Devotional

Suddenly

I woke up this morning, looked out my window and was struck by the blanket of snow covering everything. Pure, milk-colored snow. I was expecting it but when I actually saw it, its beauty captivated my eyes. And it reminded me of God. The way He suddenly changes things in our lives. Suddenly, the waiting is over. Suddenly, the pain is over. Suddenly, hope shoots up like Spring in our hearts. Suddenly, God…

A few days ago a kindred spirit spoke to me of God’s “suddenlies” and to have an expectant heart. I’ve decided to keep my eyes peeled, and I hope you will too. Don’t give up on your dreams. Don’t lose hope for that miracle. Keep believing because what He promises He fulfills. Take a moment to read the messages God sends to you through nature; all those subtle reminders of God moving all around you. He’s nearer than you think. Can you feel His breath?

You may be smack dab in the middle of a storm, but a sudden move of God can drastically change the course of your life at just the right time. I know this to be true in mine. Years of waiting suddenly turned on a dime. It was over and orchestrated with so much love that when the fog of pain lifted, I was able to look back and see God’s fingerprints molding it all for my good.

As time goes by, I hope to see more clearly, but not with my eyes.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. You don’t have to see it to believe it. You have to believe it to see it.

Wait for His suddenly. It’s coming!
