There comes a song from the east, riding on the wings of his love – a distant echo of the past made present, a lively hope for a distraught people. An elevated state for a downtrodden world. Listen to the echoes ringing. Open your ears to hear the distant song of old. Holy, holy, holy. Sing the song in reverence and watch your fears fade away, as the song reaches near and bellows in your soul. Life will bloom from the ashes. Hope is near. Scattered the ashes and plant the seed of hope deep into the ground of faith and wait. Faith will rise in vestments of power. Surround yourself with the songbirds. They carry the melody of old in their soul. They are daily witnesses of a new day dawning—of hope on the horizon. Listen for the echoes of the songbirds. They’ve carried the song through generations. Distant echoes, ring, ring, ring. The time of the singing of the birds has come.
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle-dove is heard in our land. – Song of Solomon 2:12 ASV
Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young—a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God. – Psalm 84:3 NIV
The birds nest beside the streams and sing among the branches of the trees. – Psalm 104:12 NLT
